Human factor research for safety in maritime!

1.07.2022

The team of the SAFEMODE project with members from ITU, CALMAC, Sapienza University of Rome, University of Strathclyde, CETENA, CHALMERS and Deep Blue is conducting experiments with seafarers using the maritime simulator at the University of Strathclyde.
For the experiments, in addition to the simulator recordings, neurophysiological and behavioral data are taken from the seafarers to assess human factors aspects of new operational solutions and recommendations.

We greatly acknowledge the support from UK Nautical Institute, Chirp Maritime, Scottish Power Renewables, and Glasgow City College.
